ST. MARYS — Three St. Marys natives are revamping a long-standing downtown restaurant.

Generations Cafe, formerly Miller’s, is in makeover mode as Memorial High School graduates Kyle Jones, Josh Owsley and Matt Slife changed the menu and set out to create a restaurant with locally sourced food.

Mary Ann Caldwell, 81

Mary Ann Caldwell, 81, of 12797 State Route 29, St. Marys, died at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

She was born on Jan. 23, 1932, in Mercer County, the daughter of Michael and Antoinette (Feipel) Minch.

She married Robert Caldwell on Oct. 9, 1955, and he survives at the residence.

Marcia M. Walls, 79

Marcia M. Walls, 79, of Wapakoneta, died at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Auglaize Acres.  

She was born on May 14, 1934, in Shelby County, the daughter of Carl and Mary (Rinehart) Rickert, who preceded her in death.  

On Oct. 18, 1953, she married George J. Walls, and he died on Nov. 22, 2005.

Dec. 21: Adult Services Coordinator Andrea Burton and Youth Services Coordinator Karie Enneking will offer a family DIY Christmas gift event at the New Knoxville Library at 10:30 a.m. today. We will be making a holiday craft. Kids 4 and up can bring a picture of themselves to make a personalized ornament. Stop by the library or call 419-753-2724 to register.

Dec. 22: A community supper will be served from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today at the ROC, 702 E. Spring St., St. Marys. It is eat-in only and the meal is free.
