Keeley Bree Link, 10 months old, of Minster, died at 10:50 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 14, 2012, at Miami Hospital, Dayton, to Matthew and Michelle Van (Skyock) Link. They survive in Minster.
ST. MARYS — Attached is the unofficial result listing regarding the election for all county races. Results will not become final until the board of elections meets to certify the results, typically within two weeks.
New Knoxville senior Haley Horstman was named Second Team All-Ohio while a duo of New Bremen players also earned recognition on the Division IV list.
Horstman, a senior setter and outside hitter, helped lead New Knoxville to a district title game appearance.
New Bremen senior Julie Brown was named Third Team All-Ohio. New Bremen senior Karli Jones earned Honorable Mention recognition.

ASHLAND — The St. Marys boys’ soccer team’s record-setting tournament run ended in the Division II regional championship held Saturday afternoon in Ashland. With two goals in the first half and a goal in the second half the Bay Village Bay Rockets defeated the Riders 3-0.
“I couldn’t be more proud of these guys,” St. Marys head coach Dave Ring said. “If we would have scored those two goals in the beginning especially Lemmermans’ shot off the crossbar would have set the tone.”
HEBRON — New Knoxville senior Cassie Boyle returned to the state cross country meet after a year hiatus and made the most of it.
Boyle finished 25th in the girls Division III race in her final race for the Rangers on Saturday on the course at Hebron’s National Trail Raceway that winds around the dragstrip and finishes in front of the large grandstand about a quarter mile down the track.
“I was happy I made All-Ohio,” Boyle said. “I was hoping for a little bit more, but I’ll take it.”
Leo R. Buchler, 86, of 8846 North St., Kettlersville, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on June 6, 1927, in McCartyville, to parents Raymond and Dora (Meyer) Buehler, who preceded him in death.
He was married on Sept. 4, 1954, in Minster, to Mary L. Bernard, who preceded him in death on Nov. 27, 2006.
Dorothy A. Smith, 92, of 212 S. Main St. in Minster, died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on Nov. 3, 1920, in Minster, to Louis and Caroline (Lampert) Bensman, and they preceded her in death.
She was married on June 20, 1942, in Minster, to John W. Smith. He died on April 9, 1994. She is survived by one son, and a daughter-in-law, Steve and Brenda Smith of New Bremen, and a grandson, Matthew Smith of Los Angeles, Calif.
