George A. Wiss, 71, of Eiting Road in Minster, died on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 1, 1942, in Celina, to the late Leo C. and the late Leona M. (Bergman) Wiss.
He married Rosemary Quinter on July 26, 1969, in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster. She survives in Minster.

BATH — The New Knoxville girls basketball team knocked off a bit of rust in the first quarter, then sped by Elida in the fast lane in the second half.
The Rangers shot 78 percent from the floor in the second half to roar to a 60-38 win over the Bulldogs in the opening game of the Kewpee Tip Off Classic at Bath High School on Friday night.
New Knoxville shot 6 of 9 in the third quarter and then blistered the nets for a 8 of 9 performance in the fourth quarter to wrap up a second half in which they shot 14 of 18 (78 percent).
William J. Cartwright, 47, of 925 Brandon Ave. in Celina, died on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on April 15, 1967, in Lima, to Jay and Kathy (Luma) Cartwright.
Survivors include his widow, Valerie Cartwright of Celina, two sons, Josh Toler of Celina and Chevy Cartwright of Celina, a daughter, Shaunna (Christian) White of St. Marys, four grandchildren, his mother, Kathy (Michael) Powell of Celina, a sister, Angel (Tony) Pfeiffer of Tyler, Texas, and his former wife, Katrina (Wade) Schwarck of St. Marys.

Local 200L Entertainment Committee will host a quarter auction today at the Local 200L Union Hall, 227 E. South St., St. Marys. Doors will open at noon and the auction begins at 1 p.m.
The Noble Fish Fry will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. today. Shredded chicken also will be available for those who don't like fish. Neon Drifter will play from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Carryouts also are available but must be picked up inside. The public is invited.
Nov. 22: The Holy Rosary Fall Bake Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Minster Bank, 301 W. High St., St. Marys, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Peoples Bank, 1510 Kishler Drive. Pies, cakes, cookies, muffins, bread and noodles will be offered sponsored by the Holy Rosary Altar Society.
Friday Craft Circle will be held from 10 a.m. to noon today at the St. Marys Community Public Library.
A Preschool Storytime will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the New Knoxville Library. Kids ages 3, 4 and 5 (not yet in Kindergarten) are welcome.
Alfred A. Bustetter, 93, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at The Gardens of Wapakoneta.
He was born on July 27, 1920, in Auglaize County, the son of John and Frances (Fischer) Bustetter, who preceded him in death.
On June 6, 1945, he married Loretta I. Seitz, and she died on Nov. 21, 2011.

CELINA — A Celina woman was struck by a car while trying to help two stray dogs Tuesday night.
