Nancy Louise Horner, 73, formerly of St. Marys, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Van Wert Manor in Van Wert.
She was born on Feb. 11, 1939, in Salem Township, the daughter of Raymond S. and Viola N. (Shaner) Ginter, and they preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Aaron Horner of St. Marys, Alan (Ann) Horner of St. Marys and Andrew Horner of St. Marys; a daughter, Ann Wilker of Van Wert; seven grandchildren; a sister, Audrey Schwartz of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Ginter.
Louis Charles Boltz, 89, formerly of 638 Southway Drive, St. Marys, died at 4:28 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at The Gardens in Celina.
He was born on Feb. 9, 1922, in St. Marys, the son of Harry and Elizabeth (Moeller) Boltz Sr., and they preceded him in death.
On Aug. 29, 1941, in Adrian, Mich., he married Millicent A. Chiles, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 2, 2002.

GREENVILLE — St. Marys had the lead at the end of the first three quarters of Monday night’s game at Greenville, only to a watch its work be undone in the fourth quarter.
Greenville outscored the St. Marys girls basketball team 13-2 in the fourth quarter and rallied past the Roughriders, 42-34, on Monday night.
Kelsey Tester paced Greenville with 18 points on eight baskets and two free throws. Tara Guillozet added 11 points.

NEW BREMEN — One hundred was the key number for New Bremen Elementary second-grade students, as they celebrated their 100th day of school Monday afternoon.
The second-grade students in Marsha Wierwille’s class were in celebration mode, decked out in their 100th day crows and necklaces. A slew of 100th Day of School activities were planned for the students. Throughout the day, students worked on a coloring sheet, wrote their numbers from one to 100 on a grid, decorated a 100th Day of School cookie and did a dot-to-dot.
ST. MARYS — Discussion of the addition of a dog park in the city of St. Marys got kick started again on Monday.
Members of the St. Marys Parks and Playground Committee voted to send a recommendation to city council to discuss the option of adding a park to K.C. Geiger Park. Chair Robin Willoughby brought the issue to the committee for further discussion after receiving comments from residents asking for a dog park.
Nancy Horner, 71, of St. Marys, died on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.
Arrangements are incomplete at Miller Funeral Homes, St. Marys.
Ruth J. Harter, 72, of Spencerville, died at 8:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born on Jan. 26, 1940, in Amanda Township, to Lyman L. and Sadie E. Fraley Mulholland Sr., and they preceded her in death.
On Aug. 31, 1956, she married Richard B. “Dick” Harter, and he survives.
Melvin J. Evers, 79, of Fort Recovery, died on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born on Feb. 25, 1932, in Fort Recovery, to Stephen Evers and Agnes Fiely.
On May 16, 1953, in St. Rose, he married Mary (Voskuhl) Evers, and she survives.
