NEW BREMEN — The village of New Bremen will be relocating utility wires that run through Lions Club Park underground, as councilors passed a resolution authorizing Village Administrator Wayne York to pursue contracts with the involved parties at their meeting Tuesday night.
ST. MARYS — Douglas Wine has filed a motion seeking to get his appeal heard by Ohio’s highest court.
Robert L. Francis, 81, formerly of 322 W. Madison St., a resident of Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, died at 5:04 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Jan. 1, 1931, in Portsmouth, the son of Arthur and Opal (Bryan) Francis, and they preceded him in death.
Brema P. Stose, 94, of 201 Magnolia St., Celina, died at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at the Celina Manor Nursing Home in Celina.
She was born on Aug. 2, 1918, in Pandora, to Arthur and Vesta (Dukes) Kerns, and they preceded her in death.
On Jan. 20, 1968, she married Mark Stose, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2000.
Norman Menker, 82, of St. Marys, died on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Otterbein – St. Marys.
A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel), in St. Marys.
