COLDWATER — Coldwater head baseball coach Brian Harlamert trotted towards the dugout after his post-game speech and implored someone in the press box to turn off the scoreboard at Veteran’s Field.
Harlamert likely wanted to pull the plug on evidence of his team’s eight errors and being outhit before the scoreboard changed its mind about which team actually won.
BASEBALL: NEW KNOXVILLE 6, ANNA 4
NEW KNOXVILLE — The New Knoxville baseball team scored in each of the first five innings of the game in a 6-4 win over Anna on Thursday night.
Jake Allen and Spencer Wolf each went 3-for-4 at the plate for New Knoxville. Adam Howe was 2-for-2. Wes Meyer went 2-for-3.
Howe started the game and earned the win on the mound. Jake Allen came on in relief for the save.
