CELINA — A Celina man is being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention facility in connection with the theft of a red 2007 Toyota pickup truck from a Bruns Avenue home.
The truck was reported stolen at 3:49 p.m. Thursday. The owner returned home after being out of town for a day. His pickup, which had been parked in the garage, was gone when he arrived home. The keys that had been inside the home were also gone.

ST. MARYS — If legislation introduced by a southwestern Ohio politicians is adopted, Ohioans may no longer have to switch their clocks ahead an hour.
State Rep. Courtney Combs, a Republican who represents the 54th House District, is the primary sponsor of House Bill 478, which would exempt the state of Ohio from participating in daylight savings time. John Adams, who represents the 78th House District, signed on as a cosponsor and said the legislation — introduced Tuesday — makes sense.
Moira Jean Meyer (Dillehay), 74, of 541 Western Ave, St. Henry, died on Thursday, March 15, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on May 12, 1937, in Piqua, to James L. and Mildred (Taylor) Dillehay, and they preceded her in death.
On Sept. 1, 1962, in Fort Loramie, she married Ralph Meyer, and he survives in St. Henry.
John W. Gossard, 71, formerly of Wapakoneta, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012, in Dade City, Fla.
He was born on Nov. 30, 1940, to Victor and Opal (Webb) Gossard, and they preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Delores; his sons, Dennis (Sandi) Gossard and Bill Gossard; a daughter, Kim Nunes; a stepson, Shawn (Jane) Stevens; a sister, Ginger Jacobs; a brother, William Gossard; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Glen Gossard.
