Dorothy M. Stover, 88, of 523 N. Mill St., Celina, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born on July 7, 1924, in Celina, to Albert and Nora (Fortman) Mersman, and they preceded her in death.
On June 21, 1947, she married William Alvin Stover Sr., and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2005.
Survivors include her sons, William “Bill” (Janet) Stover of Celina and Bob (Helen) Stover of Celina; a daughter, Mary Jane Stover of Cincinnati; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Nancy Ruth Hendricks, 71, of Celina, died on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on June 26, 1941, in St. Marys, to James Smith Casperson and Alma Christina (Lehman) Casperson, and they preceded her in death.
On July 14, 1961, she married Louis Hendricks, and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1990.
Robert Calvin Longsworth, 88, passed away from this life on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at the Gardens of Wapakoneta, surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born on Oct. 23, 1924, in Auglaize County in Moulton Township, the son of Lloyd and Esther (Badertscher) Longworth, and they preceded him in death.
On April 9, 1947, he married Bernice J. Nuss, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 5, 2006.
Karen N. Gilliam, 50, of Wapakoneta, died at 5:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 10, 1962, in Indianapolis, Ind., to John and Priscilla (Ashlock) Reiboldt, and her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives her in Indianapolis, Ind.
WAPAKONETA — An exciting district semifinal match between the St. Marys and Shawnee boys soccer teams may be most remembered for the goal that didn’t show up on the scoreboard.
Shawnee won 4-1 to move on to the district final on Saturday, but it was a wild, controversial ride getting to that point.
“We’re happy to be moving on,” Shawnee head coach Dick Hagen said.

NEW KNOXVILLE — Of the 29 school districts in Auglaize, Mercer, Allen and Shelby counties, New Knoxville Local School is one of only four districts to earn an “Excellent with Distinction” rating on its report card, according to preliminary results released from the Department of Education.
“I cannot express how exciting this is for our district,” Principal Linda Tebbe told board of education members at their meeting Monday night. “We knew we had the ‘Excellent Rating,’ we were just waiting on the Value Added report.”
Karen Gillum, 50, of Wapakoneta, died on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at her residence. Arrangements are being completed with the Miller Funeral Homes in St. Marys.
Steven F. Grimes, 58, of 810 Greenbriar Court, Celina, died at 3:47 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at his home.
He was born on July 8, 1954, in Celina, to Donald H. and Martha L. (Ludwig) Grimes, and his father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Fort Wayne, Ind.
On May 7, 1977, he married Kathryn “Kay” Cron, and she survives in Celina.
Victoria M. Rohrbach, 85, of St. Marys, died at 5:05 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born on May 17, 1927, in Rhine, to Edward and Hulda (Steinke) Greve, and they preceded her in death.
On June 21, 1947, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta, she married Virgil Rohrbach, and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1999.
William C. (Bill) Berg, 71, of Wapakoneta, died on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012. Bill died as a result of extensive farm accident injuries occurring one week earlier.
He was born on Nov. 25, 1940, in Lima, the son of Egon Jr. and Dorothy (Knierim) Berg.
On Nov. 28, 1963, he married Judith Truitt Berg, and she survives him.
