COLUMBUS (AP) — How a state panel of sports writers and broadcasters rates Ohio high school football teams in the sixth weekly Associated Press poll of 2012, by OHSAA divisions, with won-lost record and total points (first-place votes in parentheses):

BOYS SOCCER: New Knoxville coasts past Lima Temple Christian, 6-1

NEW KNOXVILLE — The New Knoxville boys soccer team played on artificial surface and under unnatural light for the first time all season at Lima Stadium on Monday.

The Rangers looked like naturals in a 6-1 win over Lima Temple Christian in a Division III sectional semifinal.

Contest Calls On Photographers

MINSTER — The Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce is kicking off the holiday season with a photo contest that will be added to this year’s German Family Christmas.

“We have a lot of folks in the area that are into photography,” Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce Director Scott Frey told The Evening Leader. “We thought this would be a great way to help get our photography-related chamber members involved in the holiday shopping event.”

WAPAKONETA – Two men and one woman are facing felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized marijuana-laced lollipops and cookies, crack cocaine and prescription pills, worth an estimated $8,000, following a traffic stop in Auglaize County.
