Tyler Roby hit a two-run go-ahead home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to give St. Marys a 3-2 win over Celina.
St. Marys southpaw starter Austin James worked 5 1-3 innings. D.J. Manning got the win relief, with 2-3 of an inning of scoreless work. Nick Vogel got the save in the top of the seventh with a 1-2-3 inning.

The New Bremen ACME baseball team got the bats out early and behind the pitching of Aaron Clune and Cody Wendel the Cardinals defeated Ft. Loramie 10-2 Tuesday evening at New Bremen.
Alec Frideger tripled twice for New Bremen, with Cody Wendel and Ethan Elshoff both collected two RBI hits apiece.

MINSTER — The script stayed the same for the second straight night for St. Marys — jump out early with the bats and keep adding on.
D.J. Manning and Nick Vogel each collected three hits, Tyler Roby and Brad Sawmiller held Minster’s bats to just two hits through the first six innings and the St. Marys ACME baseball team won 8-3 at Minster on Tuesday night.
Carol Marie Jordan, 76, of Wapakoneta, died at 10:05 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011, at Wapakoneta Manor.
She was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Evanston, Ill., the daughter of Howard and Marie Schooley, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 15, 1962, she married Harold K. Jordan, who preceded her in death.
NEW KNOXVILLE — The New Knoxville Village Councilors met Tuesday for their monthly meeting to approve a contract with American Municipal Power (AMP) to purchase 300 kilowatts in the AFEC project and declared it an emergency.
Village Administrator Rex Katterheinrich said the 300 kilowatt purchase was on the conservative side because the recommendation from AMP was for 900 intermediate kilowatts.
“We felt the best way to go was to err on the conservative side because it’s intermediate power,” Katterheinrich said.
NEW BREMEN — An area council voted to ban a hallucinogenic substance in its village during its annual meeting Tuesday night.
Members of the New Bremen Village Council approved an ordinance, as an emergency, to “prohibit the use, possession and/or sale of synthetic cannabinoids and other synthetic drugs.”
Councilor John Schwartz reiterated the difference between the substance marketed as bath salts and the personal product of the same name.
