CELINA — A Korean man accused of causing a collision that took the life of a 3-year-old Minster girl last month asserted his innocence on Wednesday.
Jinghao Xu, 50, of Hamilton, pleaded innocent to one count of vehicular homicide, a fourth-degree felony. Xu’s attorney, Michael Sacher entered the plea on behalf of his client, who does not speak English. Like in previous court appearances, Xu was flanked by an interpreter.
NEW KNOXVILLE — Elementary students flocked to the gym at New Knoxville Local School Wednesday afternoon for an engaging, educational experience.
COSI on Wheels visited the school, bringing one of its six traveling exhibits. Students learned about several aspects of weather in the Current Conditions exhibit that traveled to the school. The learning began with an assembly.
CELINA — A Mendon teen died Wednesday night from injuries suffered in a traffic crash.
In a news release, Mercer County Sheriff Jeff Grey said deputies received a phone call at 5:22 p.m. regarding a crash on Celina-Mendon Road between Siler and Krugh Roads in Center Township, near Mendon.
