Division IV Volleyball at Coldwater
COLDWATER — Auglaize County’s two Division IV volleyball teams had their seasons end at the hands of tough Midwest Athletic Conference opponents in sectional semifinal matches at Coldwater High School on Tuesday night.
New Knoxville took state-ranked Parkway to the brink in the nightcap, but the Panthers rallied to take the final game 17-15 and win the match, 25-19, 20-25, 25-23,23-25, 17-15.
ST. MARYS — A local senior citizen organization has been helping veterans share their war experiences for the past year.
The Auglaize County Council on Aging’s Vet-2-Vet program allows local veterans to talk with fellow veterans the first Friday of each month. Trena Chiles, outreach specialist and wellness coordinator for the ACCA, said the program started from interactions with her own father.
ST. MARYS — Local students have been utilizing some new equipment in their school to enhance what they are learning in their classrooms.
Students at St. Marys Primary School recently received new computers in their computer lab, bringing their equipment up-to-date with the computers and technology currently utilized in their classrooms.
“We got 26 new computers,” Principal Sue Sherman said. “They are awesome.”
